Evaluation Workshop 3: Sharing Your Impact & Communicating Data Effectively

Collecting data is just the first step—sharing it effectively is what makes it useful. In this session, you’ll learn how to communicate your program’s impact in a way that grabs attention and tells a clear story. We’ll cover simple strategies for writing reports, creating visuals, and tailoring your message for different audiences. Whether you’re talking to funders, stakeholders, or community members, this workshop will help you make your data work for you.

You will also receive “The Impact Communication Toolkit: Turning Data Into Action,” a step-by-step guide and checklist to help you effectively communicate your impact to a wide variety of audiences.

Learning Objectives:

  • Create reports that are clear, engaging, and useful to share with different audiences
  • Use simple visuals to highlight key points without overwhelming your audience
  • Tailor your message for different audiences (funders, community partners, and the public)
  • Anticipate and answer questions about your data with confidence
