Developing Collaborative Substance Misuse and Suicide Prevention Efforts
Substance misuse and suicide share many risk and protective factors. Collaborations between substance misuse prevention and suicide prevention efforts in local communities can help all involved achieve common goals and use resources more efficiently. This webinar will focus on how the newly released Recommendations for Local Suicide Prevention Infrastructure can help communities create strategies to address overlapping issues, with a specific focus on collaboration between substance misuse and suicide prevention. Case examples of community prevention will be discussed.
