Newport Local Health Office staff live in and serve our community – we are the local face of public health in the Upper Northeast Kingdom. We work in schools, at worksites, with your town offices and partner groups, and we serve individuals and families right in our office. In This Section

In the Newport Office of Local Health, we aspire to prevent chronic diseases by strengthening communities in our region.

Dental health is key to our overall health and well-being and affects both physical health and mental health. It affects how we grow, enjoy life, look, speak, chew, taste food and socialize.

Vermont continues to be one of the healthiest states in the nation, yet we know there are challenges ahead. To meet these, we track, measure, report on and apply data in order to achieve our shared goals for improving public health.

We welcome your call or email. Our regular office hours are 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We are closed on Vermont state holidays.
