Micro-Moments of Mindfulness: Practical Tools for Prevention Professionals

Mindfulness is often associated with formal meditation, yet many of the most powerful benefits come from brief moments of awareness woven into daily routines. This workshop introduces mindfulness as a set of practical, learnable skills that can be applied in small, manageable ways throughout the workday. Participants will explore short practices designed to strengthen attention, increase self-awareness, and create space between stimulus and response. These micro-moments of mindfulness can be integrated into meetings, transitions between tasks, and interactions with colleagues and community partners, helping prevention professionals stay present, focused, and intentional in their work.
