This presentation reviews the prevalence and impact of Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) in youth, highlighting current statistics and risk factors. It covers effective screening strategies and the implementation of brief interventions. The session also explores the emerging role of pharmacologic options in managing moderate to severe AUD in this population.

• Review current epidemiological data on alcohol use and AUD among adolescents and young adults, including prevalence, patterns, and risk factors.
• Describe effective screening tools and strategies for identifying Alcohol Use Disorder in youth across clinical and community settings
