Trauma Informed Care for Substance Use Disorders
As part of the twice-monthly MA OBAT ECHO® series, Megan Gerber, MD, MPH, FACP, will describe core principles of trauma-informed care and apply them to the assessment and treatment of individuals with substance use disorders across clinical settings. She will also identify practical, trauma-informed strategies to reduce re-traumatization, enhance patient engagement, and support recovery-oriented care for people with SUD.
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will have the knowledge to:
