Integrating Gambling Recovery Supports into Clinical Practice

Recovery support services are an integral part of a recovery-oriented system of care. The question then becomes, which supports to use and how to integrate them into a treatment process. This session will discuss several recovery support services, offer suggestions as to who should be offering them, and discuss how services can be integrated into the treatment of clients with gambling disorders. We will also explore harm reduction within the recovery continuum and how to support clients on their preferred path to well-being. We will discuss the role of Voluntary Self Exclusion in the context of both harm reduction and recovery.
