Discover, Connect, Prevent: Resources from the PTTC Network & Beyond to Support Prevention Success
Substance use prevention is vital—and challenging—work. But you don’t have to do it alone. Across the country, regional Prevention Technology Transfer Centers (PTTCs) are creating and sharing tools, training, and support designed to help prevention professionals succeed.
In this interactive session, you'll meet your prevention colleagues from the Northeast and Caribbean PTTC for HHS Region 2, discover a range of free and accessible resources from the wider PTTC Network, and learn how to tap into other regional and national prevention resources from SAMHSA and beyond that can support your efforts. Whether you're new to prevention or a seasoned pro, come connect, explore, and leave with practical resources to improve your work and strengthen your community.
Learning Objectives:
• Provide an overview of the national PTTC Network and how it supports substance use
prevention efforts across regions.
• Introduce participants to the Region 2 Prevention Technology Transfer Center and its available prevention resources, training opportunities, and technical assistance offerings.
• Identify additional resources that support prevention professionals, coalitions, and
communities when it comes to sustainability.
