Periodicity Schedules and Best Practice Recommendations

Provider's Toolkit

The Provider’s Toolkit offers providers of pediatric care, an organized compilation of current best practice recommendations and resources related to preventive health supervision and health screening for children and adolescents.

Items and tables in the toolkit incorporate and support the Vermont Health Screening Recommendations for Children and Adolescents (EPSDT periodicity schedule).  Currently, the Toolkit is being aligned with the 3rd edition of the American Academy of Pediatrics' Bright Futures initiative.

Bright Futures

Bright Futures is a national health promotion and disease prevention initiative that offers resources for use to address children's health needs in the context of family and community.

Vermont Dental Periodicity Schedule

Promotion of oral health is considered a joint responsibility between oral health professionals, and other health care professionals. This periodicity schedule is established to reflect the intervals which meet reasonable standards of dental practice.
