Certification Process

The Health Department's Division of Alcohol & Drug Abuse Programs performs site visits to funded programs providing substance abuse treatment. During these visits, we use the Substance Abuse Services Guidelines as a way to assess program compliance. These guidelines of practice should be considered procedural guidelines for all publicly funded substance abuse treatment services in Vermont.
