Student Testing For January Return to School - School Pickup

REgister to Get a test kit

This registration link is only for students at certain districts. If you have heard from your school district about getting testing kits, you can register with this link.

Who are the tests for?
The tests are for Vermont K-12 students.

Where and when can I get a test?
Some school districts will have special distribution sites, only for the students from that district. Use the button above to see where your school district will give out tests, and to register for a test kit.

Test kits handed out at schools will be given out on either Thursday, Dec. 30 or on Friday, Dec. 31. You will be able to see which day your school is giving out tests when you register.

What kind of tests are they?
The Quidel QuickVue test is an antigen test. See Quidel QuickVue Quick Reference Instructions.

When should my child take their test?
Please have your child(ren) take these tests at least 24 hours apart, starting two days before school begins.

Example:
Sat., January 1: take the first test
Sun., January 2: take the second test
Mon., January 3: return to school

My child had a negative test result; now what?
If both of your child’s tests are negative and they have no COVID-19 symptoms, they can return to school. Any child experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 should stay home from school regardless of their test result.

Please report your test result to the Health Department.

What do I do if my child tests positive?
See information on What to do if you test positive. Please report your test result to the Health Department.

What is the reason for this testing?
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our communities as Vermont students return to school, we are encouraging you to have each school-age child in your household take two COVID-19 rapid tests.

I’m having trouble registering, who do I contact for help?
