“Know What to Do About the Flu” Forums Begin Tuesday Evening in Burlington

BURLINGTON – The first “Know What to Do About the Flu” forum will be held in Burlington on Tuesday evening, Sept. 22, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Hilton Hotel. Theforums are free and open to the public, and no registration is required.

Burlington's forum will feature a presentation by Health Commissioner Wendy Davis, MD about preparations under way for the new flu – 2009 H1N1 influenza – along with the regular seasonal flu, and the actions that communities and individuals can take to cope with the flu. An open question and answer period will follow the presentation.

Upcoming forums will also be held in Rutland (Sept. 29, Rutland Holiday Inn), Springfield (Sept. 30, Springfield High School), and at the Lyndon Institute in Lyndon Center (Oct. 1). All forums will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
