Homeless Assistance

Mental Health Services gets limited federal funding to help Vermont's homeless shelters to identify people needing mental health services, and to help them find housing and get on-going mental health services and supports.

Services are provided jointly by the homeless shelters and the Designated Agencies. About 800 people get Homeless Assistance services each year.
