We work with a number of state health partners to improve asthma self-management among Vermonters. Good self-management means higher quality of life, better sleep, and fewer missed school and work days.

Schools share the responsibility with families and communities to provide students with healthy environments that foster regular opportunities for healthy eating and physical activity. 

Children can come in contact with lead in many ways. Exposure to lead can slow down growth, development, and learning and can cause behavior problems in children.

Schools play a critical role in promoting the health of young people and helping them establish lifelong healthy behaviors, from early child care through college.

We're all road users –  when we are driving, walking, cycling, passengers in a vehicle, and when using other transport. The Road User Safety program aims to reduce injury and deaths, and make Vermont roads safer for all of us.
