Lead is a highly toxic metal that has been commonly used in many household, industrial and automobile products. Lead poisoning is a serious but preventable health problem.

Childhood experiences, positive or negative, can have a major impact on long-term growth and development, and health. Negative or adverse childhood experiences can contribute to chronic disease, including mental and emotional conditions, in adulthood. These negative experiences are often referred to as toxic stress or adverse childhood experiences (ACEs).

We host two specialty medical clinics – cleft lip/palate and physiatry. There is no cost to attend these clinics, giving families access to a team of providers to support their child’s special needs.  

Ehrlichiosis is a disease caused by an infection with Ehrlichia bacteria. The bacteria are transmitted by the bite of a lone star tick, and may also be transmitted through blood transfusions.
