All babies born in Vermont have the opportunity to receive a newborn screening test to check for rare but serious diseases which may not be apparent at birth.

WIC provides healthy food, and a whole lot more, including nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to health care and other community programs. 

If you are trying to become pregnant or are just thinking about it, it is never too early to start getting ready for pregnancy.

While all children develop at their own pace, some develop at a rate that may concern parents and providers. The Child Development Clinic evaluates young Vermont children up to about age 8.

You already know that breastfeeding is best for you and your baby. What you may not know is that learning to breastfeed can take time, patience and practice.
