Vermont Immunization Manual

Welcome to the Vermont Immunization Manual.  This manual was developed to assist provider practices in adhering to the Vaccines for Children (VFC) and Vaccines for Adults (VFA) Programs and to help meet your needs in providing vaccinations to Vermonters to protect them from vaccine preventable diseases.  Primary references and materials used to compile this manual came from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, the most current edition of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine-Preventable Disease, the Immunization Action Coalition and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Immunizations and Respiratory Diseases.

It is important that manual users recognize that this is only a guideline and should not be adopted as your agencies immunization policy without the review and approval of your medical director.

If you have questions or comments, please contact the Vermont Department of Health’s Immunization Program at immunizationprogram@state.vt.us or by phone at 800-640-4374.
