Snacks that are only 100 Calories

Snacking can be part of healthy eating if you choose snacks that are nutritious and low-calorie. If you find that you are hungry through out the day, a small snack between meals can make you less ravenous at meal-times and help control your portion sizes. Below are some 100-calorie snacks for you to enjoy!

1. 4 saltine crackers with 2 teaspoons of peanut butter
2. Half of a small baked potato with 1/4 cup salsa and 1 tablespoon of non-fat sour cream
3. Cut half an apple into slices and spread with 2 teaspoons of peanut butter
4. 6 oz container of low-fat yogurt
5. Medium sized apple
6. Medium sized pear
7. Small sized banana
8. 3 Clementines
9. 1 cup of grapes
10. 1/4 cup of raisins (small box)
11. 1/4 cup of low-fat cottage cheese with 1/2 cup of canned pineapple (in it’s own juice)
12. 1 cup of carrots with 2 tablespoons of low-fat ranch dip (or 2 tablespoons of hummus)
13. 2 medium sized celery stalks with 1 tablespoon peanut butter
14. 1 large hard boiled egg
15. 1/2 cup of a low-fat pudding snack
16. 2 cups of air popped popcorn with 1 tablespoon melted light tub margarine spread
17. 1 ounce of hard, plain pretzels
18. 1 slice of whole wheat bread with 1 teaspoon of fruit spread
19. 2 large graham cracker squares
20. 1/2 cup of canned peaches mixed with 1/2 cup canned pineapple (in it’s own juice)
21. 11 baked chips
22. 3/4 cup of regular oatmeal (made with water)
23. 3 ounces of plain canned tuna fish (in water) OR 2 ounces canned tuna fish (in water) mixed with 1 teaspoon low-fat mayo.
24. 1/2 a whole grain English muffin with 1 teaspoon of fruit spread.
