As part of the rule-making process, the Vermont Department of Health invites public input on proposed rules and regulations. Details about proposals currently open for formal public comment will be listed below. You may submit comments via e-mail, US Post, or at a public hearing.
Personal Care Services (Children's Personal Care Services)
The Vermont Department of Health proposes the following rule change to the Children’s Personal Care Services Program in Medicaid Rule 7406. The rule change clarifies personal care as it is defined in the Medicaid State Plan. The rule change outlines eligibility criteria, how those criteria are applied, what is covered by the service, who may provide the service, and the opportunity for the program to provide a variance for determinations made under the criteria when otherwise found to be medically necessary.

Public Hearing
Two public hearings will be held via Vermont Interactive Technologies (VIT), originating from the main site in Williston and connecting participants at the Bennington, Brattleboro, Rutland, Montpelier, Newport, Lyndonville, Springfield and St. Albans locations.
